The Franklin Levering Cary Hall South building was the fifth and final building built in the Cary Quadrangle. When it was built, this building had rooms for 400 students, all of which are furnished similar to the first four buildings. It also contained central offices for the manager, food supervisor, and executive housekeeper, women's reception rooms, lounge, four dining rooms, and two fully-equipped kitchens. The entire quadrangle was remodeled during a six year renovation project from 2000 to 2006.
