Historical Information
When the Forest Products Building was built, it was a two-story brick building. On the first floor, there were two large laboratories, one of which is devoted to heavy farm machinery, and the other to work with cement. On the second floor, there was a light farm machinery laboratory, a large well-lit drawing room and two classrooms. In the building there are also offices, small laboratories, and locker and tool rooms. It currently contains the Wood Research Laboratory which researches the product and process engineering of wood products and the historic restoration and preservation of wood.
