Aeronautical Engineering Building (West Lafayette, Ind.)

Historical Information

The Aeronautical Engineering Building was erected in 1942 northeast of the Mechanical Engineering Building. It contained staff offices and aerodynamics and structures laboratories. In 1950, it was absorbed by the Mechanical Engineering Building and was designated as Unit 3 of the school of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering.
