Historical Information

Ground broke for the Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering in 2004. The building contains classrooms and laboratories that are intended to encourage teamwork and exploration in the field of engineering. The building houses the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the School of Materials Engineering, and the School of Engineering Education. It also contains an office for the Dean of Engineering, the Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS), as well as the Minority Engineering Program and Women in Engineering Program.
