Historical Information

Originally called the Health and Human Sciences Research Facility, Lyles-Porter Hall was built in 2012. The building houses multiple departments including the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, School of Nursing, Nutrition Science, Psychological Science, and Health and Kinesiology. The building contains classrooms, offices, the M.D. Steer Audiology and Speech-Language Clinics, the Indiana University Medical School, the A.H. Ismail Center for Health, Exercise and Nutrition, a Nursing Center for Family Health, and a Nutritional Training and Research Center. Outside of the building is also an outdoor learning space that encourages communication between children.
