Historical Information

The University Infirmary was part of the Bunker Hill dormitories (including the center Seneca dormitory) that were originally Bachelor Officers' Quarters (B.O.Q.'s) and barracks located at the Bunker Hill Naval Air Station in Peru, Indiana (now Grissom Air Reserve Base). They were relocated to Purdue University to fill the need for additional living quarters and classroom facilities. This building was located north of Cary Hall, had a capacity of 85, and was used as an infirmary. The total cost of relocating all of the Bunker Hill dormitories was $234,589.07.
