Historical Information
The original Physics Building was built in 1905. Peirce Hall, formerly Physics (part), was built and connected to the north end of the building in 1935. The combined building was renamed the Biology Annex in 1941 and the Stanley Coulter Annex in 1959. A small addition was added in 1980. The Psychological Sciences Building was built and connected to the northern end of the building in 1983. From 1989-1990 the southern end of the building (the original portion) was torn down to make room for the construction of the Class of 1950 Lecture Hall. The remaining portion is the Peirce Hall which currently stands today.
