Historical Information
The Materials and Structural Testing Laboratories were located just north of the Chemical Engineering building. The Materials and Structural Testing Laboratory began to be called the Civil Engineering Building Section I in 1961. This building was incorporated into the (new) Civil Engineering Building when construction of Civil Engineering Building Section II commenced in 1962. In 1964 the first addition was added and in 1988 and 1990 phase I and II of the second addition was completed. The building was renamed Hampton Hall in 2012.
