Historical Information
Teachers Encouraging a Love for Literature (TELL) began in 1989 as a collaboration between Lauralee Foerster from the Lafayette (Indiana) School Corporation and Jill P. TELL encouraged professionals to collaborate with others in the field of children's literature and share stories that could increase literacy and cultural understanding for their students. The organization was active until the late 2000s.
