The Harriet O. and James M. Fowler Jr. Memorial House, originally known as the Poultry Husbandry building, was built in 1924. It was created to house all of the poultry department and to properly facilitate instruction in poultry husbandry and science. In 1928 an addition was added and, in 1954, it was re-purposed into the Student Union B which was renamed the Harriett O. and James M. Fowler Jr. Memorial House. The building was expanded and renovated in 1956 and remodeled again in 1993.
