The Melody Makers of Indiana, formerly the State Extension Chorus and PMO Women of Song, was started in 1934 by Purdue musical director, Al Stewart. It is a state-level organization with clubs in counties across Indiana. The Melody Makers perform at the Indiana Extension Homemakers Association's annual Home and Family Conference, and have performed on radio programs such as WBAA.
