Scope and Contents The Albert Charles Houser papers contain Houser's letter of admittance to Purdue University for the fall of 1910, addressed to "L.L. Houser" from Registrar E.H. Davis. Also included is Houser's scrapbook containing newsclippings and ephemera dated 1913 through 1915 affixed to pages of a Saturday Evening Post magazine dated October 1909.

Scope and Contents The Jack L. Beckett papers include photocopies of several letters written by Beckett while an undergraduate student at Purdue. The collection also includes a copy of Beckett's schedule card from 1942. Jack L. Beckett earned a BS in Metallurgical Engineering in 1943. During some of his time at Purdue, Beckett lived at Cary House. His letters include observations about the effects of World War II on Purdue’s campus, especially campus housing and services. They also comment on Purdue’s curriculum...
