Richard L. Funkhouser book chapter

Scope and Contents The Richard L. Funkhouser book chapter; “The P.K. Kelkar Library: the first ten years and the collaboration with the Purdue University Libraries.” (2009; 0.1 cubic feet) documents the history of The P.K. Kelkar Library.  Richard L. Funkhouser was one of four Purdue librarians who spent time at Kanpur developing the library.  Funkhouser was librarian in residence from 1964-1966.

William M. Hepburn papers

Scope and Contents William Hepburn was in charge of Purdue University Libraries from 1904 until 1944. He led the system through construction of the General Library in 1913, a major stack addition in 1934, and the creation in the 1920s of departmental libraries for agriculture, biology, chemical engineering, chemistry, mathematics, pharmacy, and physics.
