The Purdue Choral Society was established circa 1932 at the direction of Al Stewart, who was named the director of what became Purdue Musical Organizations. The Choral Society was composed of three musical organizations on the Purdue University West Lafayette campus: the Women's Glee Club, the Men's Glee Club, and the University Choir.

Scope and Contents The Purdue Artifact collection (1880-2000, 8 cubic feet) documents different historical aspects of Purdue University. Each artifact has been given a unique number and then organized by size, and sometimes format, in boxes. The items are of various sizes in various formats, but all have a Purdue connection.
