Scope and Contents This collection consists primarily of articles written by Katherine Golden Bitting from the 1890s to the 1900s. Also included are articles and correspondence about Katherine Bitting which appeared in the Phoenix Flame, as well as material compiled by Librarian Emeritus William Hepburn on Katherine Bitting, including a bibliography of Katherine’s publications, bibliographic notecards, and a summary of Katherine’s career.

Abstract This collection contains papers, clippings and photographs documenting Dorothy Stratton’s life, especially her role as Purdue Dean of Women and Director of the USCG SPARS.

Duncan papers document Duncan'a undergraduate education at the University of Illinois Institute of Aviation and his graduate school work at Purdue University in the School of Education. Also included are papers from his early years as a Purdue University instructor in the Aviation Technician Program, Technical Institutes, Division of Technical Extension, along with the Purdue Aeronautics Corporation maintenance manual and the revisions it went through from 1956-1958....

Scope and Contents The Jill P. May papers document the life and career of Professor of Emerita of the College of Education, Department of Curriculum and Education, Jill P. May. The majority of the papers date from the mid-1970s to May’s retirement in 2011. The collection documents the private and professional life of May, particularly her professional activities during her tenure at Purdue University. Some personal papers include May’s early life and education, in addition to correspondence with family members...

Scope and Contents The collection consists a scrapbook given to Emma Montgomery McRae upon her retirement from Purdue in 1913 as well as two folders which contain articles and publications by Emma Montgomery McRae.  The scrapbook contains handwritten notes of praise from Purdue faculty members including Winthrop Stone, William Murray Smith, Stanley Coulter, Carolyn Shoemaker, Mary Matthews and others.

Scope and Contents The collection contains a box of memorial pamphlets, one faculty folder, Shoemaker's annotated copy of the Purdue 1926-1927 Directory, and two books owned by her: The Crescent Moon, and The Perfect Tribute.

Scope and Contents The Aubrey H. and Doris M. Smith papers contain Aubrey Smith's certificates and letters of recognition for distinguished service to Purdue, a train ticket from 1945, as well as his notebook, masters thesis, doctoral gown, and collection of materials relating to Purdue including a commencement brochure and an issue of the Purdue Alumnus. The papers also contain Doris M. Smith's copy of the Purdue Women's Club program and her notes, poems, and essays from Education 410 and English 551 classes...
