Scope and Contents The Steven C. Beering papers (1950-2001, 6.5 cubic feet) include interview transcripts and scripts for Vision for Tomorrow, Beta and VHS tapes of interviews and other material relating to the life and career of Steven Beering, president of Purdue University. The papers include a variety of tapes and DVDs that document activities on the Purdue University campus, relating to events at Westwood, the Black Cultural Center (BCC), and other locations.

Scope and Contents Materials relating to Purdue University's involvement in the Formosa Taiwan project. Relates to work Professor R. Norris Shreve and others at Purdue were involved in to expand curricular offerings, particularly in engineering, in Taiwan. The university Purdue worked with eventually became known as the National Cheng Kung University.
