As part of the College of Liberal Arts, the School of Interdisciplinary Studies was formed in 2014 after approval from the Purdue University Board of Trustees. It is one of the largest academic areas with over 400 undergraduate programs such as African-American Studies, American Studies, Jewish Studies, and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
