Purdue University. Film Library
Biography
The Film Library was a unit of the Audio-Visual Center. The Film Library contained films, recordings, visual aids, and audio-visual equipment that staff, faculty and students could borrow. Individuals could request a Film Library specialist to operate a projector or other audio-visual equipment for an event or course. They also offered equipment training for individuals who wish to operate the equipment themselves. The Film Library was also responsible for maintaining the audio-visual equipment and facilities throughout the West Lafayette and extension campuses: North Central, Calumet, Indianapolis, and Fort Wayne. The Film Library contained several viewing and listening rooms where individuals could view media. Several instructors created recordings of lectures/courses and placed copies at the Film Library where students could use them.
