Historical Information

The Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Leadership Excellence was founded in 2004 through an endowment left by former Purdue Board of Trustees member and alumna Susan Bulkeley Butler. The Butler Center’s mission is to “develop leadership capacity through research, education and collaborations that helps advance and broaden representation in academic decision making.” The center provides a number of services, including seminars, workshops, and research project grants.
