Historical Information

Delta Rho was founded as a local sorority at Purdue University in 1915 and officially recognized by the university in 1916, making it the oldest local sorority and third oldest women's fraternity on campus.

In 1921, Pi Beta Phi officially installed Delta Rho as a chapter and renamed Delta Rho as the Indiana Delta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi.
